Backup and Local Storage Guide

How browser storage works and how to protect your entries.

How saving works

Your entries are designed to remain in the browser storage on the device and browser where you use the reset. Brio Life does not automatically receive your entries.

What can cause data loss

• Clearing browser history, site data, or local storage
• Opening the file in a different browser
• Moving to another device
• Using private/incognito browsing
• Browser resets, device failure, or security software cleanup

Export a backup

1. Open Settings & Backup.
2. Select Export JSON Backup.
3. Save the file somewhere you can find again.
4. Create regular backups if your entries matter to you.

Restore a backup

1. Open Settings & Backup.
2. Select Import Backup.
3. Choose the JSON file you previously exported.
4. Confirm that your entries and completed days reappear.
