Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing the Brio Life website, joining a list, submitting a form, or purchasing or using a Brio Life product, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Agreement and Business Identity
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Brio Cox Group LLC, doing business as Brio Life (“Brio Life,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of briolifeos.com, related Brio Life pages, forms, email resources, digital products, downloads, dashboards, bundles, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use or purchase the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your location. If you use or purchase the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. The Services are not directed to children under 13.
3. Educational and Self-Guided Tools Only
Brio Life products are self-guided educational, organizational, planning, reflection, and personal-development tools. They are not medical care, mental-health treatment, psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis services, legal advice, financial advice, or another form of licensed professional service.
Nothing in the Services creates a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. Always seek appropriately qualified professional support for health symptoms, mental-health concerns, emergencies, legal questions, financial decisions, or other needs beyond the scope of a self-guided tool.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services.
4. Digital Products and Delivery
Brio Life primarily offers digital products. Product descriptions, included files, system requirements, prices, bonuses, and delivery methods are shown on the applicable sales or checkout page and form part of these Terms.
Delivery may occur through Payhip, email, download links, or another stated method. You are responsible for providing a correct email address, downloading files within any stated access period, keeping backup copies, and following setup instructions.
5. Personal-Use License
Unless a separate written license says otherwise, purchasing or receiving a Brio Life product grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use that product for your own personal, noncommercial use.
You may not:
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, upload, share, gift access to, or commercially exploit a product or its files;
- copy or distribute substantial portions of a product to other people, groups, clients, members, employees, or students;
- remove ownership notices or claim Brio Life content, design, code, branding, or methods as your own;
- reverse engineer, decompile, extract, duplicate, or create a competing derivative product from Brio Life code or protected product structure, except where such restriction is prohibited by law; or
- use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, infringing, or deceptive purposes.
Businesses, practitioners, educators, teams, and organizations must obtain written permission or an appropriate commercial/team license before sharing or using a product with multiple people.
6. Local Storage, Compatibility, and Backups
Some Brio Life dashboards store entries locally in your browser or device rather than in a Brio Life cloud account. Local-first storage provides privacy but also means Brio Life may be unable to recover your entries.
You are responsible for reviewing technical requirements, using a supported modern browser, maintaining your device, allowing required browser features, and exporting backups as instructed. Data may be lost when browser storage is cleared, private browsing is used, a device or browser changes, a file is moved or modified, software is reset, or a device fails.
We may update documentation or files, but purchase of a version does not guarantee perpetual hosting, future feature development, compatibility with every device or browser, or free access to all future versions. “Lifetime access,” when advertised, means access to the purchased downloadable version for as long as you preserve it and any provider-hosted access remains available; it does not mean the lifetime of the buyer or guaranteed indefinite support.
7. Prices, Payments, Taxes, and Third-Party Checkout
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change at any time before purchase. You agree to pay the total presented at checkout, including applicable taxes or fees.
Orders may be processed by Payhip, Stripe, or other third-party payment providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy notices. Payment options, including installment or buy-now-pay-later methods, are offered only when displayed and approved by the provider at checkout; Brio Life does not guarantee eligibility or availability.
8. Refunds, Cancellations, and Access Problems
Because digital products can be accessed or downloaded immediately, purchases are generally final unless a different written refund policy is clearly displayed for the specific offer, the file is materially defective and cannot be replaced, or applicable law requires otherwise.
If you cannot access a purchase or believe you received the wrong or defective file, contact hello@briolifeos.com promptly with your order information so we can try to resolve the issue.
9. Custom Products and Services
If Brio Life offers customized dashboards, personalization, workshops, consulting, or other services, the scope, timeline, revisions, client responsibilities, delivery, and payment terms stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, checkout page, or written agreement also apply. Custom work may be nonrefundable once work begins, to the extent permitted by law and disclosed before purchase.
10. Email, Forms, Feedback, and User Submissions
You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Do not submit unlawful, confidential third-party, infringing, malicious, or highly sensitive information unless a form specifically requests it and is appropriate for that purpose.
If you voluntarily provide nonconfidential feedback, ideas, suggestions, testimonials, or product-improvement comments, you grant Brio Life permission to use them to operate and improve the Services. We will request separate permission before publicly using your name, image, or testimonial in marketing unless you submitted it specifically for that public use.
11. Intellectual Property
The Services—including Brio Life names, logos, visual identity, website content, copy, graphics, product interfaces, code, templates, prompts, guides, downloads, systems, and original methods—are owned by or licensed to Brio Life and protected by intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights transfer to you except the limited license expressly stated in these Terms.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to or rely on third parties such as Payhip, Stripe, MailerLite, Tally, Cloudflare, social networks, and other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party availability, eligibility decisions, security, content, policies, fees, or conduct. A link or integration does not mean Brio Life endorses every third-party statement or service.
13. Availability and Changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services; correct errors; change prices; update product files; or limit access when reasonably necessary. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We will not retroactively change the essential purchased license without a legitimate reason, but technical, legal, security, and provider changes may affect availability.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Brio Life disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing.
We do not guarantee a particular personal, health, emotional, productivity, business, or financial result. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including how and whether you use the product.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brio Life and its owners, members, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, revenue, opportunities, or goodwill; device or browser issues; or reliance on the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a specific paid product will not exceed the amount you paid Brio Life for that product during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Brio Life and its owners, members, employees, contractors, and affiliates from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or unauthorized sharing or commercial exploitation of a product.
17. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of fraud, chargebacks, abuse, security concerns, unlawful conduct, infringement, unauthorized distribution, or material violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.
18. Governing Law and Informal Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to send a written description of the issue to hello@briolifeos.com and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it. If the matter is not resolved, claims may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Illinois, subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the Services, business practices, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. Changes apply prospectively when posted, unless a different effective date is stated.
20. General Terms
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. These Terms, together with applicable product descriptions, checkout terms, and written agreements, are the entire agreement concerning the Services covered by them.
